College? high school requirements?

I was reading a brochure for a college and it was talking about your high school cirriculum when it said: "[ the University] requires four years of math, through pre-calculus as least..." do they mean that you should have taken math all four years of high school or that you should have at least 4 math credits. I am currently a sopre in high school, I'll graduate with 5 years of math, if I do not take a math course senior year will this affect my college admission???
