What should a baby learn first?

My husband and I am from Colombia, spanish speaking country...we moved to New York because of job opportunities and we are going to have a child here. At home we speak spanish and like outside in our jobs and stores and everything obviously we speak english...we want our baby to speak both languages but we don't want her to confuse and that to become a problem for her learning (that happened to me) which language should be taught first?
