Jim Harbaugh decision? SMART?

I think it is a smart decision. The Bay Area is a good place to live in. The 49ers probably have the best players among the teams that are courting him. The 49ers have Vernon Davis and Patrick Willis, two all pros, and Frank Gore will be coming back next year. They can probably re-sign Alex Smith for less money, so they can conceivably win their division next year. If he is going to Miami, he would have to beat New England and the Jets to reach the playoffs. With Miami's personnel, it would be a tougher road ahead than with San Fran in a weak division. Denver appears to be a bad team that is unlikely to improve right away.
